The Fall Developmental
Program is meant to introduce new players to the sport and
to sharpen the skills of existing players to prepare them
for our main Spring season. The fall lacrosse program has a
"second sport" mentality. The main lacrosse season is in the
Spring and we realize that many of our players play
football/soccer in the fall as their main sports. Fall
2008 Season will open late in the summer/early fall.
Attending fall lacrosse practices is not mandatory and we
hold our scrimmages/clinics on Sunday afternoons to avoid conflicts
with football and soccer games on Sundays. The fall season
is a great way to learn the sport
or refine your skills in a
low pressure and fun atmosphere. Players will receive a
scrimmage jersey as part of their registration fee. There
are no official games or teams in the fall. Players of all
skills will practice together with their age groups with a
pool of coaches to help them learn the sport and develop
better skills.
The Fall Developmental
Program will consist of one practice per week
(with a rain out make-up day) and scrimmages on Sundays
afternoon.
Fall Player age groups (for both boys and girls) are as
follows:
- U9 - players born in calendar years 1999 and 2000
- U11 - players born in calendar years 1997 and 1998
- U13 - players born in calendar years 1995 and 1996
- U15 - players born in calendar years 1993 and 1994
